Another Shoe Drops

I wrote earlier about Tom DeLay's already-plentiful troubles, so it was not much of a surprise to get home from class tonight and discover that lo and behold, he's been indicted again. The same Texas grand jury that came up with a conspiracy charge last week today added a money laundering indictment to the mix.

DeLay needs to go. The GOP needs to wash its face of his sleaze and move on. Enough is enough.

[Update: Slight correction. The Post reports that the new indictments, on a charge of money laundering and another charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering, were handed down from another newly-empaneled Texas grand jury, which had nothing to do with the earlier indictment. -- 4 October, 7:21 a.m.]
