As Simon notes in a comment below, the final countdown clock on the nuclear option began ticking today, as Senate Republicans officially filed a motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I'm taking a day off tomorrow (Saturday) and will be away from the computer, but Sunday I will be back with a vengeance. The moment to watch on Sunday morning, of course, will be Howard Dean's appearance on "Meet the Press" - there's definitely some news-making potential there!
