Gang of 14 to Meet

Roll Call reports this morning (via National Journal) that the members of the Gang of 14 will meet on Thursday morning; they are expected to discuss the Supreme Court vacancy. The report adds that the seven Democratic members met yesterday afternoon.

This is excellent news. Their voices (and votes) are going to be of vital importance as we move forward through the confirmation process, and I'm delighted to see that they're meeting. What will come out of it, who knows. But it's a good start.
