Novak Meltdown

It's been a few hours, so by now you probably have heard of or seen Bob Novak's "abrupt departure" from CNN's "Inside Politics" this afternoon. I had the t.v. on but it was muted, so I missed the whole thing; thankfully it's just about everywhere now. I honestly don't know what to make of it - clearly Novak was a bit cranky, and Carville's ribbing (at what seemed to be a pretty normal level for the Ragin' Cajun, I thought) sent him off the deep end.

Novak has been temporarily suspended from CNN for his use of a rather strong scatological term on live air, and the AP said he was not responding to calls from reporters. He has apologized to CNN, the network says.

In case you haven't seen the video clip of the 'event,' it's available here.

The problem with America is that instead of throwing traitors like Bob Novak in jail, we put them on tv. By all rights he should have been hung for compromising America's intelligence in a time of war.

My post today thinks Novak should be in jail instead of Miller. He wrote an article and published it and for most Americans that was the first we ever heard of Valerie Plame.

Novak can dish it out but can't take it. Wait till Jon Stewart's daily Show does a skit on this one. It will be very funny indeed.
