Bolton Still Twisting in the Wind

Stygius reminds us that while we are all now preoccupied with the Roberts nomination, there's another Bush nominee waiting to be confirmed ... waiting, that is, for the White House to provide information relevant to his suitability for the position. The linked post discusses the complications that a recess appointment in August (widely expected at this point) could pose for the ease of the Supreme Court nomination process.

The White House "continues to believe that John Bolton ought to have an up or down vote." But as Steve Clemons said last night, "He's still in limbo - and the confirmation is clearly losing air, buzz, and luster."
