Coalition for Darfur Weekly Post

Did calling the genocide in Darfur a genocide make any difference? The Coalition for Darfur says maybe not. The Coalition has been doing as good a job as anyone covering the horrific events in that region, and has recently also been posting on the death of Sudanese VP John Garang and its ramifications for peace, as well as the ongoing famine crisis in Niger. If you haven't been making them a regular part of your blog reading list, I would encourage you to. It's not pretty stuff, or very fun - but these are areas we should all be forcing ourselves to pay more attention to, each and every day.
