ANWR Drilling Vote Could Come Thursday

The Christian Science Monitor reports that a Senate vote on ANWR drilling could come as early as Thursday, since the leadership has attached the drilling provision to the budget, which cannot be filibustered. It's going to be an awfully close vote, and unfortunately, it's not looking very good for the conservationist side. Keep your fingers crossed, and if your senators are on the fence (or if they happen to be from Hawaii), give them a call.

It's all about priorities. Raising fuel efficiency will do much more than ANWR ever will.
