Rove: It was Novak

How many more turns can this story take? Now, says the New York Times (citing "someone who has been officially briefed on the matter") Rove spoke with Bob Novak on July 8, 2003 (six days prior to the infamous column). During that phone call, Rove has told investigators, "he learned from the columnist the name of the C.I.A. officer, who was referred to by her maiden name, Valerie Plame, and the circumstances in which her husband, former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV, traveled to Africa to investigate possible uranium sales to Iraq."

In response to Novak, Rove has said, he responded "I heard that too."

Sheesh. This story really does make me crazy.

They both say it's the other, and Judith is still in jail!
