Follow-Up
Dennis over at TMR has an excellent follow-up to my "Something's Rotten" from yesterday. He's right, the movement to change the way things work in the GOP today must come from the rank and file. We've got to do it, folks. We have to get their attention and let them know this is not the Republican Party we want in charge.

You and Dennis have the right idea. All this anger, right-wing populism, and abnuse of religion are not good for the republic. From what I can see, however, the number of moderates in the GOP is shrinking. Though you might not like the tactics of the New Right, the plain fact is that they work.
