Friday Satire

- The Onion headliner this week reports on an "aggressive initiative" announced this week by the president to make the United States energy independent - by the year 4920. Don't miss this one.

- Andy Borowitz this week reports on the new White House spokesman, announces NASA's revised Mars exploration plan, and pans Bob Novak's potty-mouth.

- Scrappleface takes on the ACLU over marginalizing American Indians, previews NARAL's newest attack strategy against John Roberts, discusses the similarities between Hillary Clinton and Jeanine Pirro, blames Bolton for recent oil-for-food arrests at the UN, and looks at the Democrats' new fundraising effort: thinking.

- The Swift Report also sticks with Bolton, reporting exclusively on an international melee that Bolton was involved in - it's about peanuts ... literally.

- The Garlic offers up the Top Ten Cloves of "Extra" Pork in the Transportation bill, Why the Bush Brothers Don't Want Katherine Harris to Run For Senate, and a defense of Bob Novak from an unlikely source.

- The Capitol Steps have a new parody song this week: "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Korea?" [RAM format].

Enjoy.

The CapSteps have actually had that song out for a few years.
