David Rogers on McCain

Today's WSJ profile of John McCain by David Rogers (available free!) is, as "The Note" Noted this morning, a must-read piece. I'm not sure I've ever read a more positive piece on McCain, even at the height of Straight Talk Express-mania back in 2000. Don't miss it.

Bull Moose has more.

McCain is running for president, period. While some of his late activities are to be applauded, he still is 100% for the war, and still supports the President on virtually everything else. That famous "cake" picture with Bush during the first days of Katrina says it all.

What does it say? I must have missed whatever you saw, which based on my impression of your comment, is two old white guys having a good chuckle while poor black people are suffering. If that's what you saw, then I'd say you're seeing things. Neither man has an iota of prejudice in their souls. One picture does not capture a thousand words and you can't read a book by its cover...otherwise you'd think seeing him on the Las Vegas streets circa 1973 that Howard Hughes was a hobo.
As for 100% behind the war...so are Hillary and Joe...what say you to that?
