Gang of 14 Meets on Miers

At 4:30 this afternoon, WaPo's Chris Cillizza reports, thirteen members of the Gang of 14 will meet in Senator Ben Nelson's office to discuss the Miers nomination (Senator Joe Lieberman will not attend, as he is observing Rosh Hashanah).

Cillizza writes "Sources familiar with the meeting paint it as a chance for members to get a sense of where their colleagues in the Gang of 14 stand on Miers and address any major problems that any of them might have."

Could be a very interesting meeting, and I'll be watching to see what if anything comes out of it.
