When Centrists Stand Up

The Hill ran an interesting article yesterday outlining several significant centrist rebellions against the House leadership in recent weeks (most notably over the Endangered Species Act-evisceration bill and the oil company incentive act). Even though the leadership eventually prevailed in both cases, both examples are proof positive of the influence centrists could have if they'd just continue to stand up and be counted.
