Sunday Show Guests

This week the Sunday talk shows offer up basically the same Katrina aftermath interviews, but with a few added bonuses and some discussion of the upcoming Roberts confirmation hearings.

The one not to miss tomorrow is This Week (ABC), which will feature Illinois Senator Barack Obama in his first Sunday show interview this year (I think). Other guests include former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and the Dalai Lama. Quite a trio, actually. Stephanopoulos will also do the usual roundtable with George Will and Fareed Zakaria.

Meet the Press (NBC) will feature New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin and Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Arlen Specter.

Face the Nation (CBS) guests will include the commander on the ground, Lt. Gen. Russell Honore, Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME). Jan Crawford Greenburg joins Schieffer in the questioning.

Fox News Sunday features Louisiana's pair of senators, Landrieu and Republican David Vitter, and as of now they're the only show to get an interview with Vice Adm. Thad Allen, who's taking over for Brownie. The panel: Mara Liasson, Juan Williams, and Bill Kristol.

Late Edition (CNN) gets Red Cross head Marty Evans, Sen. Vitter, former Senator John Edwards, 9/11 Commissioners Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, WaPo media critic Howie Kurtz, and columnist Eugene Robinson.
